VOCO  (InterContinental Hotels Group), Folkestone-Renovation 
MDR Construction Ltd proudly delivered a refurbishment of the  VOCO in Folkestone, a key asset for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). This extensive renovation project was designed to transform the hotel's facilities and elevate its market position.
 
The project's scope was broad and complex, requiring a high level of coordination to minimize disruption to hotel operations. Key works included:
* A full internal and external refresh, including updated facades and landscaping.
* Total refurbishment of all guest accommodations to meet  VOCO  brand specifications.
* Complete fit-out of the new F&B (food and beverage) areas, including the main restaurant and bar.
* Significant upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for improved energy efficiency and guest comfort.
The successful completion of this project has repositioned the  VOCO  Folkestone as a state-of-the-art hotel, offering a superior guest experience and strengthening its appeal to both business and leisure travellers in the region.
